George Westropp

George Westropp has fished Lake Vyrnwy for trout for over 60 years, catching his first of many trout there in 1957 at the age of 13. Throughout and after his career in journalism and public relations, he has maintained close family links to Vyrnwy and his children and grand-children are the fourth and fifth generations to fish the Lake. Salmon and trout fishing consume his spare moments and he is Executive Vice President of Salmon & Trout Conservation UK.
