David Lang

David Lang is an experienced amateur botanist, whose previous books include Orchids in Britain and The Wild Flower Finder’s Calendar. A veterinary surgeon by profession, he has for many years been a partner in a large practice in Lewes. He lectures in Sussex on natural history and has been widely involved in nature conservation. As well as botany, his hobbies include singing in opera and oratorio, photography, bird watching and collecting Georgian glass.
