THE AUTHOR

Bob Wyatt writes, paints and fishes from his base in Middlemarch, New Zealand. Since cutting his angling teeth on the freestone streams of southwestern Alberta in the 1950s wild trout and everything about them has been pretty much a full-time preoccupation. His writings have appeared in Gray’s Sporting Journal, Fly Rod & Reel and Fly Fishing & Fly Tying.

Review for his previous book, Trout Hunting: The Pursuit of Happiness

'... a book that is both a delight to read and a treasury of fresh ideas; certainly my approach to dry fly fishing will be very different next season.' BASC Reviews

'Every angler should have this book immediately accessible from the armchair, positioned with a notepad handy to ensure its lessons are not easily lost.' Eddie Young, Trout and Salmon magazine
