Reviews for Hunter Gather Cook
As a keen cook who loves to experiment, I am always on the lookout for good cookery books. As a forager, I yearned for a book that would give me ideas for what to cook using wild ingredients — and this one does just that. There is even a section for homemade alcohols and pickles! It’s been a while since I was so excited about a cookbook — it ticks all the boxes for me. The recipes are easy to follow, not ‘cheffy’, and the photographs are stunning. You know exactly what you’ll end up with on the plate. Whether you are a pro hunter-gatherer, or just a beginner who enjoys cooking and foraging, I would highly recommend it.
