'The huge amount of useful tips and tuition on fly tying tools and techniques would be a useful resource for anyone looking to start tying deer hair flies. For the more experienced tier, if like myself you have spent time battling with deer hair at the vice, then you will find lots of useful pointers that will help to improve your tying... This is a well presented and thought through book that draws on the author's wide-ranging experience. It is a useful reference for any fly tier and would be particularly suited to anyone getting to grips with deer hair flies.' — Charles Lyne-Pirkis, Deer Magazine
